There™, a local company that has designed (and is continually developing) unique Collectable Teddy Bears
- the first Digger Bear™ was released in 2005. Our company is 100% Australian
owned, and our products are tested to conform to
current Toy Safety Standards AS/NZ ISO
8124 or EN71. Only new materials are used
during the manufacture of our products.
Our latest recruit -
Peacekeeper Bear - measuring approx 43cm, was designed and manufactured
for the Australian Peacekeeper Memorial Project, to help raise funds to
assist them with the building of a Peacekeepers Memorial in Canberra. The
sale of each Peacekeeper Bear will contribute valuable funds, with an
official opening planned for September 2009. Peacekeeper Bear is
numbered.
Other bears released in
2008 include Digger Bear™
DPDU - measuring approx. 39cm (wearing
desert camouflage uniform), and Digger Bear™ DPCU
- measuring approx.
40cm (wearing bush camouflage uniform - colloquially known as Aus Cams).
Both are Limited Edition bears - don't miss out.
"RAAF Bear", a
40cm cute and
cuddly light brown bear dressed in the older style RAAF uniform and forage cap,
complete with replica cap badge, is still selling well. A Limited Edition bear - still available
to order if you haven't already done so.
"Digger Bear™-Vietnam" has been very
popular. A
36cm soft and huggable white bear, dressed in jungle greens and bush hat, he is also
a Limited Edition bear available to order, so don't miss out.
"Jack tar", a
37cm beautiful
beige fully jointed bear, dressed in traditional summer naval uniform (S3's), complete with lanyard, ribbon,
black silk and sailors cap, is again a Limited Edition bear, so get in quick he
has proven to be quite a hit.
Seamus
(pronounced Shay-mus - Gaelic for James)
represents all things Irish.
A 30cm (37cm overall) seated soft and cuddly bear who adds magic to everyone's day.
He loves to kick up his heels on St Patrick's Day
and
enjoys Craic (fun, enjoyment and light hearted mischief), not to
mention an occasional pints of Guinness!
Digger Bear™
- of course is our original bear, and he was
designed specifically to recognise participation of Australian troops who served their
country during World War 1.
A rusty tan bear measuring approx 36cm bear, he is dressed in reproduction woollen uniform, with
reproduction metal Rising Sun emblems on his collar and also on his slouch hat (and yes, we
obtained special permission from the Australian Army to reproduce these emblems
and to produce this product). Digger
has been a hit, widely appealing to not only patriotic Australians, but also to military enthusiasts, historians, collectors, tourists
etc. Sales of Digger

will be ongoing due to the outstanding demand for him.
